Weekly Activities
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
Please take note that beginning the first week in July, we will be starting our summer hours, 8:30 am to 1:00 pm and continue through the end of August. Our Adoration is on Tuesdays, if you would like to sign up to for a specific time, please call Gerry at 965-3487. We are always looking for people to help us.
Perpetual novena in honor of our lady of the miraculous medal is held every Monday after the 8:00 AM Mass at Assumption.
Monthly Activities
Shop Rite, Acme and Stop n Shop gift cards
Representatives from Assumption Regional School will be selling after all masses on the first full weekend of each month. The school receives 5% of the money raised from these sales. Cards may also be purchased at Mary House from 8:30 - 12 and 1:00 - 4:30 on weekdays. If you have any questions, call Kathleen at 407-9568. Thank you for supporting our school!
A Communion Service will be held on the first Saturday at 8:00 am. While this is not a Mass, this service will include distribution of Holy Communion. The next service is scheduled for Saturday, August 2 at 8:00 am
On the third Sunday of each month, the Elks is sponsoring a breakfast at the American Legion Hall, Route 30 and Carton Ave. in Galloway. The cost is $5 adults and $3 for children under 12, and includes coffee, OJ, choice of three types of eggs, roll, homefries, pancakes, and bacon AND sausage. The time is 8am to noon. CATHOLICISM 101 - “Looking to deepen your knowledge about the Catholic faith? Our Lady of Sorrows has the class for you! Every Monday night at 8:00 pm, prepare to learn about our rich history and grow in faith as we discuss the Church and her teachings. Call 926-5595 for more information and cancellations”. Class resumes for the fall on Monday, October 8th with “Where did the Bible come from?”
